HST solids quilt is Finished!

Woohoo! It’s been pieced, quilted and finally bound!

I started this quilt in the summer last year, so to be sat here, writing, snuggled up under it, is a real pleasure!

It’s made from HSTs (half square triangles) half Kona ash half mixed solids. Bound with cream satin binding and backed with Kona pomegranate (same red as in front) and a strip of Kona ash. Wavy quilted.

Now to get the next one finished…

  1. This is so awesome. I, too, am working on a HST quilt but it’s just in the beginning stages. I’m using all scraps and oh mylanta it’s a lot of cutting but fortunately I got a Baby GOAccuQuilt cutter for Christmas. SO FUN.

    1. Oh, having a cutter must be great, means you get exact cuts too. It can be a bit borring doing all the prep work, but once you start seeing it come together, it’s all worth it! Thanks for visiting my blog! Lou

  2. I love HSTs, they’re so… versatile! I was snuggled up with my boy under his quilt yesterday and it was loooooovely! He did tell me off though and said I’m not allowed his quilt again. I really do have to make one for me! 😀
