DIY Fabric tape (you know, like washi tape)

Just a quick one, not so much a tutorial, as a sharing of ideas today. I can hardly do a tutorial on this as I’m sure that as soon as I say the words ‘double sided sticky tape’ you will be able to work it out for yourself!

Anyway, here goes.

You will need scraps of fabric, double sided tape and scissors. (Could also use pretty paper or lightweight ribbon.)

Make sure all fabric pieces are flat so that they will stick properly.

Now, here’s the tricky bit, stick fabric on tape. Phew, did you manage that ?! 😉

Trim fabric down to fit the tape.

Use for anything and everything, packaging, crafting, prettying up notebooks etc…

Well, that was fun wasn’t it!

    1. Oh! That would take forever! The fabric on that dress comes like that, its Washi by Rashida Coleman-Hale ( it’s from last year I think) The dress pattern used it for the cover photo and named the pattern after it. x

    1. Hi! Thanks for stopping by! Stupidly this double sided tape I’ve shown here comes with no backing tape, which means you have to use it straight away! Next time I will make sure it’s covered on one side! Lou
