A quilter’s table.

Over 4 years ago, one of my first ever patterns for a magazine was a quilted patchwork table runner for Sewing World.

A little while later and I have now  made another version using this gorgeous “Gathered” fabric by Bonnie Christine for Art Gallery.

table runner 1

It’s a plus design table runner that uses 8 different prints, forming interlocking plus/partial plus designs along the length of the runner.

It’s really hot here in the UK at the moment but I’m already thinking on making one of these in Christmasy fabrics, I think it would be a great addition (get it  😉 ) to a festive table, or maybe the sideboard? maybe I need two more, just to be sure!

If you want to make your own, I have the pattern available for a super cheap £/$3.70 – check out my pattern shop page for links etc.

The collection I used here is Gathered by Art Gallery Fabrics.

There are some lovely floral illustrations in this collection and there are some perfect fussy cutting opportunities to be had!

You can check out which shops are stocking this (and other Art Gallery collection) by going to the Hantex page here and finding a stockist.
